how to find vintage in small towns
Hi Brittany,
ReplyDeleteI am an 18 year old, vintage and sewing loving girl. I love looking at you blog and especially like looking at your hair and makeup tutorials. I came across your blog last year and look at it periodically. Just today I realized that you were from Missouri and St. Charles of all places (that is where I live) and I became very excited. Any of the other blogs I read are written by ladies from other states. I really enjoyed your post about shopping vintage in Missouri and I can't wait to look into some of those places. Have a good evening and thanks.
Oh my gosh! Small world!! I live near Main Street! If you ever want a thrifting buddy, email me and we'll meet up! :)
DeleteYou forgot Sedalia, about an hour from Columbia. We have the Scott Joplin Ragtime Festival every summer and loads of antique and consignment stores as well as one that specializes in fashion and has Vintage clothing exhibited in their window, they change the clothes they use in it quarterly and they have loads of vintage accessories and clothing for sale inside as well. Check it out sometime, Historic Downtown Sedalia.
ReplyDeleteI found you through Bakelite - or actually researching Bakelite for my Etsy Shop. I am too a Missouri gal (also with red hair and love for Vintage) Loved this article as I am coming to love all of your stuff and saving you on my Pinterest boards. I am down by Cape Girardeau and my brother is up there in Maryland Heights. I just read an article in "ONLY IN MISSOURI" that Springfield now has over 50 Thrift and Consignment Shops!!!
