hello, sweeties!
Just had to pop in to remind everyone that my vintage apron sew-a-long begins tomorrow!! For my new readers, I will be hosting the sew-a-long to help beginner sewers go through a modern re-release of a vintage pattern. Fell free to jump in and join us! We will be sewing this apron pictured above
All of the supplies (including the pattern) can be found at your local fabric store. For a list of supplies, click here
I will be posting pictures of readers wearing their aprons so when you're finished, you can email your pic to me at bluegurl1700@yahoo.com
If you won't be available to start the sew-a-long, don't worry. It will be posted here on Va-Voom Vintage forever so when you're ready to begin, the info is here!
The Sew-A-Long will be broken up over 3 days
Day 1: Cutting
Day 2: Sewing
Day 3: Finishing
Hope to see you there!! xoxo
I'm so excited! I'm really glad you are going to be here to do this with me. I took a gander at the pattern directions and they looked a bit scary for me to handle on my own...

I've been sewing a lot of aprons lately, I wish I had that pattern so that I could sew with you! I'll have to get it payday then come back and sew it with you to learn how. I can only do basic aprons right now, with a lot of trial and error! LOL
ReplyDeleteBTW - I'm going to tell people about this on my blog!

I've found the pattern at both JoAnne's and Hancock's. I know that you can also find it online on the Butterick website, although they charge full price! :(
