oh, wow! It's been a long time since my last post but I wanted to post a quick update
My ancient computer finally kicked the bucket last week but I was fortunate enough to have my mom's old (but still AWESOME) computer waiting for me. I am loving my new-to-me computer. It's so much faster and more fabulous than my old one. Pj cleaned off the old programs and set it up and it's perfect. woo-hoo!!
Pj graduated with his associate's degree last weekend and we are so incredibly proud of him! His mom and I are planning a graduation party for him later this month so I'll be posting pics of that at a later date. He's starting his bachelor's degree program in a few weeks.
Pj is on vacation until the 11th and we have been having so much fun being crafty and lounging around. Since the rugrats are too small to travel, we're hanging around St Louis this summer and enjoying being home. He was on a ridiculous work schedule (3am to 11am) for the past 2 1/2 months so we're sleeping in and getting back to a normal day.
I have been spending my afternoons on a very fun, amazing new hobby which I will unveil very soon! Let's just say that I enjoy it more than sewing! What could it be? We'll see!!!
Oh, and before I forget...I've been meaning to post a tutorial on how to repair an old powder compact. It's been "in the works" (a.k.a. forgotten about) for months but it's my goal to finally post that puppy before Wednesday. If I don't have it posted, please do harass me about it!

Glad to know I'm not the only one that has old blog posts I procrastinate on posting.
ReplyDeleteStay-cations are a blast. I LOVE LOVE LOVE St Louis for free stuff to do. Being just a few hours away makes it a nice get-away town. I have spent 4 days in Forest Park alone, had the visit the family at the zoo ;) Act like a tourist and go have some fun!
