Just a quick post here. Lately, my blog has been receiving a lot of spam comments from random companies, posting links that don't pertain to anything. 2 weeks ago, I had one for a lawn care company in the Philippines.
I don't know about you, but I don't like cyber or canned spam.
I had to turn on the irritating word verification thing on my comments to prevent future spam. I love your comments so I hope it doesn't deter you from dropping me a note!
While we're on the topic of getting rid of spam, I thought I'd share some really bad recipes for using spam.....

Spammers are so annoying I have had a couple I delet them straight away,I do hate the verification But I will do it coz its your blog and I like it xx
ReplyDeleteI am partial to spam (the food, not the inbox-clogging nonsense) but those recipes look terrible.
ReplyDeleteCheers!
I just dont geddit! What the hell do they think they are going to achieve? Silly blighters.
ReplyDeleteLandgirl- I know, right!? I actually sent an email to this morning's spammer, informing them that they are really chasing away potential customers by being irritating. LOL!
ReplyDeleteApple Poisoner- My grandma does make killer spam and eggs. I've had it made by other people in the past and it's just not the same as grandmas! Maybe it was her growing up in Hawaii in the 40's and 50's? I dunno, but it's good when grandma makes it!
When life gives you lemons, make lemonade, when life gives you spam, make...spam jello...yech! LOL
ReplyDeleteCanned Spam can be awesome (pan-fried in teriyaki sauce!). The other kind of spam, not so much. Unfortunately, the word verification thing is a necessity.
ReplyDeleteIf my husband keeps being a jerk, I'm serving the green one for dinner, then sneaking KFC after everyone's in bed.
ReplyDeleteHAAAHAAA!!! Scrapyard Butterfly- that made me laugh so hard! :P
