hello, darlings!
Pj went back to work today after a wonderful 2 1/2 week vacation. Getting back into my daily habits was interesting but I got through the day with few disasters.
Anywho, I just wanted to pop in and let you all know about a giveaway over on my dear friend, Daffnys blog, A Vintage Nerd. She's giving away a beautiful handmade 1940's style snood of the lucky winner's color choice. There's nothing quite as lovely as a handmade snood. I wear mine at least 3 days per week.
Bunny was kind enough to send me a these knitted snood patterns for Christmas. I can't wait to make these!!
Bunny is an absolute sweetheart so be sure to follow her blog while you're there!

I am blushing a lot hehehehe Thank you for the surprise-you always know how to put a smile on my face!! Muah!
ReplyDeleteThanks for pointing the way. I have wanted a snood for a long time and love finding new blogs to read so... off I go!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing! I want to wear snoods more often and my hair is just getting to be long enough to wear them again!
ReplyDeleteFunny that snoods came back in during the 40s. Maybe it was part of the Southern Belle revival that was going on around then? (Last time snoods were in was about 1860s.)
ReplyDeleteInteresting thought! I do wonder why they came back into style. Maybe the southern belle thing? maybe the working girl's need to keep the hair up? No idea but I'm sure glad that they did!! :)
