Good morning, lovelies!
I am so honored to report that I have a guest post today over at The Girl with the Star Spangled Heart! Stephanie is on vacation this week at Disney, celebrating her birthday and having a fabulous time. The Girl with the Star Spangled Heart is one of my very favorite blogs so please do pop over and check her out. See the scarf tutorial here
My post today is about how to make this adorable 1940's hair scarf, based on an original. After making this one, I had so much fun that I decided to crank out a few more with other scraps of fabric so you will probably be seeing me in these quite frequently this summer.
Thank you again to Stephanie for inviting me to guest post on her fabulous blog. Have a wonderful time and a safe trip home, sweetie!!
Your tutorial was just darling! Now how about one on those pin curls of yours (or have you already done one on this blog?) I recently tried sleeping in some rollers and got a terrible night of sleep and not the hair I was expecting.
ReplyDeleteoh my gosh! Its so funny that you ask because I just got done filming a tutorial for Rita Hayworth hair using pin curls. I'm editing now and it should be totally finished by early next week!! This one is for pin curl waves but I'm going to do some others on pin curls. I have a basic pin curl tutorial but it was posted ages ago and could use a re-do! :)
ReplyDeleteThat is adorable! I'm going to give it a go despite being useless at anything crafty!
ReplyDeletethis is just adorable!!!! i cant wait to make this!!! I'm going make so many different colored one hahaha :) this post was amazing, thank you so much!!!!!!! :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a fantastic tutorial (and ultra cute creation!), sweet dear, thanks so much for sharing it with us (bookmarked for the day when I finally get a sewing machine!).
