Hello, blogland!
Well, I've spent the entire day working on making some changes here. It still isn't finished so please excuse the mess around here. It's midnight and since tomorrow is Father's Day, I will probably be stuck with the disarray till Monday. At any rate, I'm excited about all of the things I'm learning about html, css and other scary things. I am a complete novice at this kind of stuff so even adding a new gadget is a big deal for me!
Also, I just changed my blog's width. Apparently, I have a huge screen but only 4.5% of my readers have a screen big enough to read this without having to scroll over. Scrolling over is irritating so if it's still a problem for you, please let me know and I'll try to tinker with it.
Okay, time to crash. I'm making biscuits and gravy early in the morning for Pj's father's day breakfast so bloggy fun must wait!

Please leave your feedback
My main reason for doing some design changes is to make this blog easier to read and to navigate so if anyone has any constructive criticism, suggestions or ideas, please do leave a comment or drop me an email. I had some great feedback from a few gals on facebook today. Thank you to everyone for your advice! Also, I just changed my blog's width. It looks like Minima Stretch!
I'm very excited that I figured out how to stretch my blog (like the old minima stretch template) without stretching the actual size more than 1024 pixels. Okay, time to crash. I'm making biscuits and gravy early in the morning for Pj's father's day breakfast so bloggy fun must wait!
I LOVE the new look it's fabulous!!
ReplyDeleteI'm not a "computer" person either, so I feel your pain! Everything looks cute and well spaced out though :D
ReplyDeleteIt must be the time of the year to change your blog, I just changed the layout and stretched mine out as well!
ReplyDeleteYours is all good on my little screen ;)

I'm with Bex, must be that time of year! I, too, changed up my blog http://lifepse.blogspot.com a couple of weeks ago. I haven't stretched mine out though. In fact, I didn't know you could do such a thing! Proves how much I know.
ReplyDeleteAs for your blog everything looks great! Love the color palette!
Everything looks marvelous, sweet gal. I know that sometimes once one starts tinkering behind the scenes it can be hard to know when and where to stop (lol, or at least that happens to me occasionally), but I love all the new (both this weekend and over the past few weeks) changes here and think your revamped site looks as cute as button.
ReplyDeleteOodles of hugs & cheerful wishes for the week ahead,
♥ Jessica

ReplyDeleteI really like it :) I feel I may be going back down the rabbit hole of blog-updating soon. A new banner I feel ... *there goes 6 hrs of my life*
ReplyDeleteI like it! It's very attractive and easy to navigate!
ReplyDeleteOoh, good to know about stretching, thanks for the tip! Apparently I'm with everyone else and have been wanting to do a wee bit of refreshing on my blog, too. I started with new tutorial buttons in my sidebar but that's as far as I've gotten. lol! I'm really liking what you've done so far!
