I stumbled upon The Jane Victoria via Pinterest a while back and while looking for a new project last week, I fell in love with her beautiful designs all over again. I am absolutely determined to knit this incredible mantelet before next winter. I love the blue pictured but it sure would be amazing in sage green or red too. Oh, decisions!
For those who don't knit, The Jane Victoria has listings for custom finished garments, using the patterns from her shop. Here are a few more of my favorite knitting patterns from The Jane Victoria on Etsy

Oh my goodness, these are LOVELY. Thanks for sharing, I'm going to go check out those patterns immediately!
ReplyDeleteI haven't knitted for an age, but these are so sweet I may have to have ago. The mantle is lovely, but those legwarmers - wow!
ReplyDeleteI have one of the shawly-capelet thingies from this shop and absolutely LOVE it, especially paired with a Victorian dress. Well worth the spend for a completed one, if you don't knit, too :-)
ReplyDeleteThese are all so appealing, wonderfully pretty. I'm not a knitter myself, so I especially appreciate that offers (and your mentioned) gorgeous custom listings. My bulging wish list really doesn't need any more entries, but how can I not add at least one of these sublime Victorian inspired pieces? :)

Oh my goodness, those are all so beautiful! I really love the first one, but to me the simpler capelet and the gloves seem the most wearable for "real life". I can only imagine the time that must go into these lovelies!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing them :-)

ReplyDeleteAh yes, I've spotted her stuff before - the first pattern is popular among steampunk knitters, I've been thinking of making one myself.
ReplyDeleteWow, that mantelet is amazing! What a great winter piece!
ReplyDeleteOh golly, I am totally going to make that first item!
ReplyDeleteThank You for sharing this talented knitter. I will be adding a few of her patterns to my que:)
