I had planned on staying indoors and doing my bouffant today but the weather is so unseasonably warm in St Louis that we decided to go on a walk and try to find a local bakery instead.
I wore my new black dress from eshakti, which is one of my new favorites. eshakti offers custom made clothing so you get the perfect fit every time. You can add customizations to most of their garments by changing sleeve types, hem lengths, adding pockets and more. I love the little details of this dress, like the puff sleeves and shirring at the waist. This is my idea of the perfect little black dress.
I truly adore my new neighborhood. There's so much history here. It's going to be a wonderful place for the kids to grow up. Look at that little pose!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE that dress!
ReplyDeleteI've checked out eShakti before, but was unsure because I'd never heard anyone's personal experience with them. Now I'm going to give them another look, that dress is fabulous!
ReplyDeleteYeah, I like them a lot! They're a little on the high end of prices for me but for a basic staple like a black dress or fancy party dress for a special event, I'd totally order from them. The dress arrived pretty quickly after I ordered and they have a good customer service dept too. The only thing about this dress is that due to the elastic ruching along the waist, it's not as nipped in as I'd like it but that's an easy fix with a belt or sewing needle. They have some really cute separates and jackets too!
DeleteI want to live in a town like that. It looks like it has a small town atmosphere!
ReplyDeleteIt totally is, but it's also near the city. Just a block away is historic main street, which is a very touristy area- lots of history events and little shops
DeleteAww, the photo of you both together is so sweet. The neighborhood looks lovely, especially with the tail end of fall. Love their Christmas decorations on the light posts, too!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful mum and daughter! You look so similar :)
ReplyDeleteAnd I like Christmas decorations. So festive! There is a great contrast with yellow trees :)
you look so cute! I am loving the blue gloves and head scarf!!! And your town looks like a great place to be. good for you! :-)
ReplyDeleteI love the pop of those blue accessories against the black of the dress--and what a dress. Love this outfit!
ReplyDeleteYou look so, so wonderfully pretty! I adore the chic pairing of black and light blue (my first wardrobe post this year featured an outfit in that same palette), and really enjoyed seeing some of your neighborhood (me thinks that when spring rolls around again, I might have to do a similar post with snaps of our little town :) ).
