Great give away!! I love the Triple Two Toned Cymbidium Orchid Hair Clip! Liz
ReplyDeleteI think the flapper-fascinator (http://www.vintagebox1947.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=68_60&product_id=102) is divine - and I would love to wear it with my 1920s inspired dress.
ReplyDeletehave a nice weekend!
Oh, and I made a "like" on fb...
ReplyDeleteEach week for a month, that is wonderful. My favorite was also the Cymdidium orchids which is the perfect size to wear with everything, but it would go best with a playsuit or saraong in the summer.
ReplyDeleteliked her on facebook as well. Thanks you two!
ReplyDeleteHonestly, I'm in love with all of the fascinators. I really can't just choose one! While I have a lot of vintage and vintage inspired items in my wardrobe, I own no hair accessories whatsoever!
ReplyDeleteI liked her on fb too :)
So, my favorite is this one: http://www.vintagebox1947.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=68_61&product_id=113

I love all things made of velvet!!!
I love the pink powder puff Shelby hat. I would wear it with black winter dress.
ReplyDeleteI really love the Sofia Open Bloom Rose in pink: http://www.vintagebox1947.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=68_61&product_id=68#.UObhg6xQhxM
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful!
My favorite item is the Ranunculus with Peacock Feather. I would pair it with either an emerald green wiggle dress or royal blue one to bring out the colors in the peacock feather and red high heels & gloves to match its flower.
ReplyDeleteI follow you here and on FB.
ReplyDeleteAh, hit send too soon.
ReplyDeleteI also liked their page on FB and left her a comment as well.
There are so many beautiful choices, I have a hard time choosing just one! I would say my absolute favorite is the Ranunculus with the Peacock Feather and I would probably pair it with something black, form fitting, off the shoulder maybe.
ReplyDeleteI also left a comment for Nina on her fb page. Woohoo, double chances!
ReplyDeleteI "liked" her on Facebook, and left a comment. :)
ReplyDeleteMy favorite piece has to be the Champagne Ranunculus with Peacock feather fascinator. I would pair it with almost anything in my closet.
ReplyDeleteI like the Gerber daisy hair clip. My best friend is getting married in June and will be using Gerber daisies. It would be the perfect accessory!

ReplyDeleteI love the orchid hair clip - It would be a great piece for spring!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite is the Corina Classic Black Hat!
ReplyDeleteOh I love so many of her things but the 20's flapper headband is really pretty I think.

Also like her on facebook.
I like the triple magnolia flower set best; magnolias are gorgeous. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteI love the Magnolias - and also the triple orchid set! They both would look great with my 40's inspired, navy blue dress.

The Working Home Keeper
I think the one you're giving away might be my favorite! It would fill the white fascinator void in my hair wardrobe. I would wear it with a gold & white brocade cropped jacket and summer dresses.
ReplyDeleteI like the Peacock & Goose Fascinator and I would love to pair it with a navy blue dress and lacy jacket.
ReplyDeleteI love the piece "Tweed Houndstooth and Black Tulle
ReplyDeleteOn a Barrette" I would pair it with my Black Cocktail Dress that I purchased from Pinup Girl Clothing and proudly wear it during Viva Las Vegas 16 when I attend it with my darling in March!
The new Skull Cameo with goose feathers is definitely my FAVORITE! I would wear it with my black under bust corset and lace bustle skirt.
ReplyDeleteI also like vintage box 1947 on FB :D
ReplyDeleteJust found your blog... and loved&followed it!! Nice to find this giveaway too... I adore the Ava butter and cream hat, it's so cute and smart at the same time... Good luck everybody!!
ReplyDeleteJust pressed the "like" button of your Facebook page... and followed your boards at Pinterest!! Hope to find wonderful treats from now on!!
ReplyDeleteThank you very much for holding this giveaway, Brittany! It's wonderfully lovely of Vintage Box 1947 to give away an item per week this month. I've swooned over some of their items before, but don't own any, so I'd be pleased as punch to win anything from them. Having pursued their offerings today, I think my very favourite piece is the adorable Pink Shelby Powder Puff Hat with Frosted Bow. It beckons to my (huge) girly-girl side!
ReplyDelete♥ Jessica
Ooooo....my favorite must be the "NEW - Ava black and butter cream hat with netting & bow" it's so classy. I would wear it with my LBD and black pumps and a gorgeous pearl necklace my grandmother gave me.
ReplyDeleteLiked the page and commented! Was happy to compliment such a fantastic shop!
ReplyDeleteI have many of Nina's items, but not this one. I have long admired it and would wear it with my IGIGI green dress. :) Pretty Please!!
ReplyDeleteThe triple magnolia--I'd wear it with my red pencil skirt and my lace b&w striped top (when it warms up a bit, anyway).
ReplyDeleteI like the triple orchids in ivory. Orchids are such beautiful flowers, but I since my hair is Audrey Hepburn a la Sabrina short flat flowers look best in my hair. Plus ivory goes with everything. I think I would pair it was my blue trixie dress from Trashy Diva or with a gray 3/4 sleeve cardigan and black cigarette pants. :)

This is fun stuff! I love the 1920s headband (here: http://www.vintagebox1947.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=68_63&product_id=102#.UOdxLhwt2BA). "The Great Gatsby" movie is coming up, and I could DEFINITELY seeing this in my theatre-going costume!
ReplyDeleteMy favouriute is the Triple Orcid Set http://www.vintagebox1947.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=68_61&product_id=67 because the blooms are soft and delicate looking, very life like. I love the cream colour way with realistic veining through them and I especially like that they can be worn individually, as a duet or all three together. I would wear them in a 1940's style hair-do when wearing World War 2(Pacific)style faux wrap dress in muted greens, salmon and beige floral print...a little bit exotic.

My favorite product is the Curled Goose Fan with Deco setting--in the two-tone teal, of course! (http://www.vintagebox1947.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=68_60&product_id=73#.UOeoeYnjloU) I'd wear a sassy champagne number with it, something low-cut with a full skirt.
ReplyDeleteI also posted on Vintage Box 1947! :)
ReplyDeleteMy favorite is the Shelby Powder Puff in Pink
ReplyDeleteI would get the "Triple Two Toned Cymbidium orchid hair clip" which has been catching my eye for a while. Or a black triple orchid set, for a change. I don't know if I'd be too good with setting a veil or fascinator... some look real pretty though, such as this one : http://www.vintagebox1947.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=68_60&product_id=83#.UOhAnXcqhh4 But overall, I'm more of a flower gal, so I'd be thrilled with the price !!
ReplyDeleteI've also liked both the maker and this blog on facebook, and follow this blog !
ReplyDeleteJulie Wednesday Strange
I love the Geogia solid blue fascinator! I would wear it with my beautiful blue silk evening gown!
ReplyDeleteI absolutely ADORE the cream triple orchid set! I would love to wear this with everything! From glamming up my normal work clothes (required jeans blech!) to pairing it with my gorgeous black dress from the forties. What a wonderful giveaway! Thank you :)
ReplyDeleteI also liked her facebook page. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI love veils (and actually wear veils to church, though, slightly different). In fact, I'd love to get two of those birdcage veils: White for church, black for evenings out.
ReplyDeleteI also liked her facebook page :)
ReplyDeleteIt was difficult to choose, but I think my favorite would have to be the Triple Two Toned Cymbidium orchid hair clip, I'd love to wear it with yellow and white 1950's summer dress! :)
ReplyDeleteI also liked the Facebook page! :)
Oh the devine Pink Shelby Powder Puff Hat teamed with my pink lace 50's prom gown and pink and white patent pleaser peep toes, I would even create a burlesque outfit around that confection.
ReplyDeleteHave become a fb fan as well xx
ReplyDeleteDefinitely the Sweetheart Tulle Birdcage Veil in Black. Perfect for a Pinup Shoot in my Rago girdle!

I love the Triple Orchid Set - it would look great with several of my sweaters. My hair accessory collection is missing some things, so I may have to do some shopping.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely the peekaboo audrey veil. Oh if only I was getting married again!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely the triple white orchid which I would wear with my navy 50's style dress.
ReplyDeleteLove the Flamingos A Hoy!

ReplyDeleteI Love all her work, picking just one thing is impossible for me, she makes beautiful veils, hats & hair clips, but I think maybe the fascinators are my absolute favourites!!
ReplyDeleteMy absolute favorites are her Fascinators, but everything she makes is Gorgeous, Love her veils & her pill box hats too....I am already a fan of her FB page
ReplyDeletePeacock Dreams with Teal feather! I have the purfect teal knit dress this wouls go with.
ReplyDeleteMy hair is pink and purple right now so I would definitely have to say one of the lovely pink fascinators. The sequin bow with feather fascinator is gorgeous along with the Shelby Powder Puff Hat with Frosted bow in Pink. I am also in love with flamingos (large flamingo tattoo on my leg) so the Flamingos A Hoy flower is a favourite as well.. Too many lovely choices! I would pair all three with a black wiggle dress. These would for sure be the statement of my outfit.
ReplyDeleteHonestly I think you picked the best one but I also love the Ranunculus with Peacock Feather.
