For father's day, we went to mom's house for a bbq. The dads had a few beers and relaxed in the sunshine while the kids played in the sprinkler. It was such a gorgeous day! Mom and I pulled a few weeds out of the garden and she sent me home with some thinnings for my victory garden.
I wore a new cardigan that I embellished this week with hand sewn felt and embroidery. These cardigans will be available in different colors and sizes in the shop this week so you can have one too!!
Outfit:
trousers: Heyday Vintage
blouse- thrifted
cardigan- embellished by me
scarf- thrifted
shoes- arris allen rug cutter wedges ebay
Adorable sweater! Lovely job on the embellishment!

ReplyDeleteLove!!! I'm smitten with Victory brooches (though they're almost impossible to find on this side of the 49th), and am now equally so with your wonderfully charming cardigan. You always create such completely lovely, classic pieces, dear gal.

What a great idea! I would have never thought about sewing on the felt V.
