I know a lot of people loathe Valentine's Day. Its a big commercial holiday with a lot of expectations and it can be a bummer for the single girl. Single, dating or married- I think a girl should take this time to treat and love herself! One of my favorite things to do- which doesn't happen often is relax in a hot bubble bath with a good read and a beautiful vintage robe waiting for me when I get out. Here are my top picks for a much-deserved Girl's Night In!

I'm one of those Valentine's Day haters, but it's because I worked in a candy store for eight years. That'll ruin any holiday for you for a long time. I do, however, think that the sentiments it represents are good ones. People just let themselves get too stressed and pressured to live up to social expectations. That said, I agree with you 100% that it's really important to give yourself (and loved ones) a little pampering now and then. Hope you all are doing well!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea to treat yourself. I love all your pics, especially Soap And Glory (I had almost forgotten them), and the confetti lucite earrings. :)
ReplyDeleteVery charming suggestions! I love Valentine's Day, always have, always will (no matter what my relationship status has been). I don't necessarily focus on the romantic side of it, but rather use it, much like Thanksgiving, as a day to really focus on those people and things in my life that I adore and am grateful for.
