On Saturday, I woke up on the wrong side of the bed so Pj made a beautiful breakfast pizza and we went to the fabric store to pick up some cute prints on sale. Craft store shopping always improves my mood, how about you? I spent the day sewing a couple of cute blouses and finishing the zippers for a few skirts that I started a long time ago and never finished.
I wore one of my Pendleton 49ers. This one was a thrift store find for two bucks but it was in pretty gnarly shape when I found it, loaded with moth holes and needed a pocket repair but I gave it some time and darned the holes and its one of my favorites.

ReplyDeleteI'm sorry that you were having a rough spell. The start of the month was much the same for me due to various reasons, but thankfully it's perked up a bit in the last week. I hope that it gets even better for both of us wraps up.

Shopping just in general helps when I'm feeling cranky. There's nothing like a shiny new toy to boost your mood.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like you did a great job with the jacket, you look fantastic. And your hair! Those curls are perfect.
Cheers,

When I'm in a funk, I usually knit something, or if I have what my grandma calls 'get mad money', I'll buy something small and nice.
ReplyDeleteYour Pendleton looks amazing, good on you for restoring it! I can't wait to see the pretty shirts you made!!
It is amazing how many things one can save with a little time and some TLC. You look cute as always. :)
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, you are so lovely, you could make a paper bag look fabulous! Fortunately, you are such a clever thrifter you don't hav to:)
ReplyDeleteWell don't you look amazing! Your hair is perfection and that Pendelton 49er just looks lovely. After seeing so many vintage bloggers looking amazing wearing them I think I want a 49er of my own... ah, the corrupting influence of the internet.
ReplyDeleteThis has to be one of my favorite outfits I've seen on your blog. I have a jacket, with a similar color theme as this and it makes me want to pull it out and maybe get an outfit post up on my blog. ;) I don't tell you nearly enough, but seriously you are a big inspiration to me in my fashion. I so wish I could do ginger hair.
