On Thanksgiving, we went to my husband's uncle's house a little early. I made some really delish sweet potato casserole, we had lots of wine and I watched Pj laugh hysterically while he played Cards Against Humanity. I also wore my gorgeous new navy tartan skirt from Vivien of Holloway, paired with a vintage sweater that I don't wear enough.
I'm so in love with this skirt. It's a bit longer than most of my skirts, which is nice for winter and although I often wear a-line or gathered at the waist types, I find the true circle skirt much more flattering. The fabric has a really nice back-and-forth swish as I walk. I'm making it my winter mission to stock up on way more skirts like this one, but not plain cotton, like I usually wear. Something with some weight and substance like this beautiful skirt is perfect!
It was such a windy day, my pretty pin curls didn't last long. Next time, I need to keep a scarf on while we're outside. I may stash a sheer scarf in my purse for days like this!
